I keep prepacked kits that are ready to go to make it easier when traveling. I tweak them a few days before, if necessary.

I will add these items to first aid when flying.

- beach towels
- plastic rubbish bags
Picnic backpack
- foil
- plastic wrap
- Ziploc bags

- sponge/ Mister Clean eraser sponge
I have a bag that I bought at a hobby shop that was designed as a picnic pack back . It has lightweight dishes with organized compartments. This was one of my favorite purchases and even has a small salt and pepper shakers.
There is lots of room for me to include extra spices (1oz bags), any cooking oils, marinades, and grilling utensils that we may need.
I keep a few sets of disposable cutlery in there. There is even room for Vivas , my favorite paper towel, extra toilet rolls that vacation rentals do not always have. It make me happy not to pay the high rates that holiday shops charge for necessities. :- )
This one varies and I tend to research ahead of time to see if I need to add dish powder/ liquid, laundry soap, coffee filters, or anything else. Of course there is a bottle opener that lives in there, and an external side pocket for a wine bottle. It came with two mini champagne glasses that have their own place to live in. It was love at first sight. I had to have it.
